What Sizes do you stock?

 As the majority of our gowns are ex-sample, ex-display, and ex-catwalk, the sizes we stock are typically Sizes 8-18 unless stated otherwise.



What Dress Sizes should I try on?

Bridal Sizing is notoriously unpredictable - The sizes are based more on shape/ measurement than the typical high street sizing. We recommend dresses in your normal size and up to 2 sizes bigger (Size 10 = Try Sizes 10, 12 & 14)


 

Will I require alterations?

Almost every dress will require alterations, whether it’s made to order or off-the-peg.

Dresses can be taken in by up to 2 dress size sizes.

Alteration costs are NOT included in the cost of your dress. Prices tend to vary from £80-£400 depending on the seamstress you use.

We don’t have an in-house seamstress, but we do use and recommend a local seamstress. We would estimate an average price to be £100- £200 but again, it can vary depending on the work that is required. Please contact your preferred seamstress for further advice.

Do you accept returns if I change my mind?

Due to the nature of selling dresses off-the-peg, all sales are final. We advise that you are 100% happy with your dress and accessories before payment.


When should I start looking for my dress?

Most brides start looking approximately 1 Year in advance of their wedding date.

If choosing a Made to Order gown, you would need to leave approximately 6 Months for delivery plus 8- 12 weeks for alterations and fittings.

Should you decide to purchase an off-the-peg dress (which can be taken away on the same day), this would remove your requirement for the 6 month delivery wait, but you would still need to leave 8-12 weeks for any alterations.


How long will my appointment last?

All of our appointments last 1 Hour and 30 Minutes. This may seem like a long time but you will be surprised how fast the time flies by!


What will happen at my appointment?

We will greet you and show you around our showroom, then leave you to browse and pick the dresses that you would like to try on.

Our consultants will work with you on a 1-to-1 basis, so you will have their full attention and assistance for the full appointment. Don't worry if you are unsure on what will suit you - our consultants are experts in helping you find the best styles.

We operate via a NO PRESSURE policy - You can rest assured that we will never push you into making a decision.



What should I wear/ bring to my appointment? 

Comfortable underwear is recommended (Preferably strapless if possible in nude/white). 

We can provide shoes to try on during your appointment – or you can bring your own if preferred.


How many people can I bring with me?

Due to limited seating, we recommend up to 4 only.


Do I have to make an appointment or can I just turn up?

We operate via appointments, however due to cancellations and empty slots it’s definitely worth giving us a call to see if we can fit you in.


Can we take photos?

Absolutely! We have no problem with photos being taken of the bride in dresses. Please do not take pictures of our staff members, or the internal store itself.


What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you need to cancel your appointment, we would appreciate as much notice as possible for rescheduling or cancellations so that we can offer this appointment to another bride. Where possible we would appreciate 24 Hours’ notice.
